Enfantine F.G. Fashion

13"
Tri-Color Eyes

$3,850.

Offered here is a most stunning Francois Gaultier enfantine fashion. Starting with her large tri-color eyes with black iris surrounded by a ring of olive green, then another band of royal blue, her face has endless depth with meticulously painted lashes and brows, an outlined closed mouth, and pale, smooth bisque as backdrop for a her lovely expression. Her blond mohair wig is secured with a royal blue silk hairband that extends in back to tie around the top of her braid.

She has pierced ears, a swivel neck on bisque shoulder plate, and youthful, chubby bisque arms with detailed fingers and nails( Thumb of right hand is repaired well). Her shapely, gusseted leather body (at hips and knees) is very sturdy.  Because of the fragility of her original, royal blue silk dress, she now has a second, excellent garment to model while keeping the original silk one nearby.  The white dress you see her in is an antique,  early pique dress with hand sewn detail on the sleeves and bodice.

It doesn't end there as she has her well-fitting, antique undergarments including a lace trimmed camisole, as are the pantaloons, a full petticoat that rests over her antique hoop skirt and provides ample support for her full, enfantine skirts.  Antique ecru socks and her black leather slippers with royal blue silk and buckle detail provide her coordinating footwear.

Jumeau Fashion in Lavender

22"
Young Portrait Face

$3,450.
Wearing her lavender wool walking suit was expertly made long ago of antique fabrics and trims, with accents of deep iris on both her garment and continued to her floral trimmed chapeau, here stands a confident, young-faced Jumeau portrait fashion. She has deep blue paperweight eyes, pale, smooth bisque, and an antique auburn mohair wig in a smart up-do.
Her bisque head that swivels on her bisque shoulder plate is on her original, sturdy leather body that has separately stitched fingers and is in beautiful condition.  Of special note are her antique crocheted stockings with garters at the knees, and her antique undergarments that include a special half slip that has its own built in bustle for that accentuated silhouette of the time.

Alt, Beck and Gottschalk Fashion Lady

$1,685.
Made in Germany by the firm of Alt, Beck and Gottschalk comes a young fashion lady (15 1/2") with a grown up sweetness all her own.  Her girlish, round bisque head has blue glass eyes, a closed mouth, a very fair complexion with soft shading and decoration, and antique blond mohair wig in a full, curly style and pierced ears.  She has a swivel neck on a bisque shoulder plate and her all leather body is gusseted at the elbows (patched to reinforce), hips and knees.
Her camisole seems to want to stay on her as it may have been on there from the start, so photos of the body are not completely thorough, however the upper torso is in fine shape.  Her silk and lace gown is quite a remarkable creation with a lush layer of lace ruffles and gathers on the bodice and the front skirt overlay,  and an ecru silk skirt with a flowing train following her.  Topped off with a colorful, antique chapeau of purple velvet, pink and green silk ribbon and some floral accents.

Rohmer/ Huret Type French China Fashion (repaired)

ON LAYAWAY

There is a space next to an early fashion, like a Huret or Rohmer, that calls for this petite (12"), early French china poupee. What an expressive face she has with her large, painted blue eyes, much like those of the Huret chinas, round face, white coloring, and sloping shoulder plate. She wears an antique wig of auburn human hair, pinned up in the back and she has a youthful, plump leather body with gussets at the elbows, and hips.

It is soiled but very sturdy with the hands being especially dark from exposure, plus a small patch at the top of her left leg. Her mid-19th century outfit consists of an antique paisely skirt, fine cotton white blouse with a collar, cuffs, front tucking and buttons, tied together with a wide, brown satin ribbon. Her high brim bonnet is an artist rendition of those worn in this time period and she has antique leather boots. There is a very hard to detect repaired damage to her forehead area and also a small circular fill in at the top left rim.
